Ben Townsend, author of T23 North, R12 West: The Story of Springville Township, Michigan, will give a presentation on his book and research.  Springville Township is the home of Mesick, as well as the former towns of Sherman, Yuma, and Coline and played an integral part in Wexford County's development.  Doors open at 6:30, presentation starting at 7 PM.

Bonnie Neuman will portray Anna Howard Shaw, a women's suffragette from Mecosta County who became an ordained minister, earned a medical degree, became President of the National American Woman Suffrage Association, as well as being posthumously inducted into the Michigan and National Women's Hall of Fame.  Doors open at 6:30, presentation starting at 7 PM.

Mark Bliven, former employee at Old Mackinac Point Lighthouse, will present on "Lighthouses of the Great Lakes."  As he says, "I have a million stories, some of them true even."  Mark will tell us stories that he learned during his time at the park and love of maritime history.  Doors open at 6:30, presentation starting at 7 PM.

What would our great grandparents have watched at those Nickelodeon Theaters in Cadillac, Michigan?  What were the first films made by the inventors of the different cameras and projectors?  Richard Shults, author of The Theaters And Opera Houses Of Cadillac, Michigan will walk us through this early history and show some of these wonderfully old time films for everyone.
